Tory Lanez - Shots Come For Free (Prison Tapes)

Tory Lanes's release of music from behind bars is nothing short of inspiring. I think the culture needs more of this, regardless of what you feel or think about him. If you and I are on the same playing field, you'll understand why he is in there "in the first place." I wish I never met you in the first place. I've been a Tory Lanez fan since he went viral with Adin Ross on that livestream freestyle. I'm not talking about the quality of music at our disposal. I'm not saying we need more music or we need better music. That's far from what I'm talking about. Our eBay account was just recently banned. This cut 80% of our income. You might say well, maybe you deserved it. I won't argue with you.

Listening to Tory Lanez Prison Tapes is liberating because they represent much more than music. It's an outcry of how our society, politics, and justice system have failed us. From the outside looking in, it's easy to believe in what you were told to believe in. That's a part of being human that brings about our biggest failures. We refuse facts and trade them for narratives to soothe our discomfort. And we use bans, prisons, and gatekeepers to lock us up physically. What has gone unnoticed is how much we are locked up mentally. Only a few will understand; the majority fall in line. Everything in this life is created to test you. These are not simply multiple-choice questions on a quiz. These tests are real-world problems that are placed on you for absolutely no reason.

Remember, Tory Lanez is doing ten years in prison for allegedly shooting Meg The Stallion. To be exact, it was the release of a firearm that allegedly shot Meg The Stallion in the foot. But she testified in front of the world, saying that she didn't have a wound or even a scar from that day. We don't know how the gun fired off. We only know Meg the Stallion somehow was grazed by the bullet. Remember, the media initially shadowed Tory Lanez. When he revealed an alternative way to make money by owning your art and letting others invest in it versus joining a label and signing your soul away to the devil (labels).

So, to put it all together, I understand why so much injustice happens to anyone who goes against the collective narrative. They went after Tory. They've even got me recently.
Now they're coming after you if they haven't already. #FreeTory #Prisontapes
